Benedetta Ristori is a freelance photographer currently based in Rome, Italy. The crucial concepts of her stylistic research are decadence, abandonment, emptiness and a new approach to classic beauty. In 2016 she won the ‘People category’ in the 16th Smithsonian Magazine photo contest, with her project ‘Lay Off’, which was also selected by Vogue Italia for their photographic section ‘Photostories’.
Her recent project, ‘East’, was featured in important publications such as It’s Nice That, Freunde Von Freunden, The Space Magazine, The Calvert Journal and others.
